This children's room comes to us from Finland, land of Marimekko designs. Open and colorful, there are several reasons why this space works for active kids:
1. Great use of space-making the most of walls is key in efficiently creating a space for a little of everything; chalk wall for the creatives, built-in bunk beds for hanging out with a book or napping
2. Stimulating colors-bold green, yellow, and red energize this space; sandwiched between a white ceiling and floor, it keeps from being too much
3. Lasting style-simple and functional, this is furniture that is kid friendly and can grow with them
What do you think? Have you used chalk paint in your home? Does it work out well? Comments are very welcome.
