ONE-actively changing poverty is a powerful movement that aims to diminish global poverty through taking action. How? The site explains:
Our three million members around the world take action. They click petitions, make phone calls, write letters, attend rallies – to demand solutions from their governments. Your voice alone may struggle to be heard, but our voices together are hard to ignore.
Such action brings results too! To illustrate, those living on $2 a day has declined from 71% in 1981 to 41% in 2010. Recently, Children Inspired Design was featured on a blog post, sharing our Global Compassion Map as an example of advocating for anti-poverty. We are honored to be included among those passionate about making a difference. For the post and other inspiring stories of change-makers, please visit here.
