Children Inspire Design Story - Chapter 5 - A baby in a coffee shop

I our third year together, Luca and I married and had Giovanni. Everything was great until the fear and pressure of parenthood sunk in. All of a sudden I had it in my head that we were horrible parents for living so far away from our families and we would never make it here on the island as a family. So, I convinced my husband to move back to Wisconsin to be near my family. (why not Italy? Why not anywhere but my small hometown? Questions I still ask myself). So, at 27, I sold my first business and headed back to the midwest, family in tow.

Chapter 4: Married an italian drummer  I met Luca on the first day I arrived. He was hanging out in my friends bookstore when I stopped in to let her know I arrived. After I left, he told my friend that I was the girl he was going to marry. The rest is history.
