Recently a friend’s kids donated extra soccer balls for refugee children, a service provided by Darfur United. The act was an opportunity for learning about the reality of children in other parts of the world and for experiencing the value in giving. All parents want their children to grow up as compassionate contributors to community, global need, planet Earth. There are plenty of ways to foster this quality as kids develop into young adults. One of the most relevant ways for children to learn about service is when it is connected to other children. Compassion - Nurturing Hope, Restoring Health

While this time of year is synonymous with giving, organizations around the world spend everyday giving. Volunteers clock in countless hours lifting up those who are less fortunate. During the months of November and December, Children Inspire Design is shining the spotlight on our favorite organizations who show compassion for the earth and all who inhabit it.Onevillageatatime.org- One Village at a Time strives to create small, sustainable programs for African AIDS orphans and their villages.
