New Years Resolutions for Kids

Written by contributing blogger and interior designer, Christine Martin.
As adults, making New Years resolutions can mean a lot of things. How we approach creating goals reflects on the relationship kids develop with the process as well.

Here are examples of several helpful tips:

*keeping a positive approach-limit discouragement if goals are not immediately met, share the attitude of tomorrow being a new day to “move mountains”
*taking gradual steps towards big goals-encourage turtle steps where slow and steady makes it; this approach allows for greater chances of success
*making family resolutions-group goals promote community and closeness; invite the spirit of teamwork by coming up with one or two resolutions you can do as a family
