Neutral Kid Rooms: a good idea

Written by contributing blogger and interior designer, Christine Martin.
Often people like to keep the knowledge of their baby's sex a surprise. For some parents, this can create a planning problem, especially with decorating a nursery. While traditional color schemes that suit boys' and girls' spaces are charming and easier to plan, selecting neutral color palettes have many benefits.
Here are a few:
whites, beiges, and grays offer a calming mood or energy
they're timeless; neutrals are colors that are likely to "grow" with your child
as a backdrop, these make other gender neutral colors like green, yellow, and orange pop.

CID offers many prints that embrace a multi colored scheme or would enhance a gender neutral interior design. Check out our shop for options.
